We have already been supporting KSB Hilden/Haan since 2016 with cash donations, IT equipment for Hilden refugee children and satchel donations for future primary school children. "As a Hilden resident and CEO of a local family business, it is a matter of the heart for me to support local clubs and organizations like KSB Hilden/Haan," emphasizes Nina Härtel, CEO of Böllinghaus Steel.
This year we decided to do a special action at our booth in Maastricht. The fair had not only become a place of trade and business, but also a symbol of solidarity. All visitors were invited to participate in a raffle, win prizes and at the same time do something good for the youngest members of our society. During the three-day fair, 1000.00 euros were collected through raffle ticket sales. Another 200.00 euros were donated by the employees of the Hilden office. The management, Nina and Hartwig Härtel, increased the donation total to 2,500.00 euros. "We would like to express our sincere thanks to all customers and participants who contributed to the success of the fundraising campaign with their generous support," Nina Härtel and Nadine Lichtenwimmer are pleased to say.
In the last two years, the donation situation has not improved. "Without sponsors and loyal supporters like Böllinghaus Steel, we cannot implement our important projects for children and their families. In the coming weeks, we will be launching support groups for children and teens from separating families and an ADHD contact center for families. The received donation is used for the conversion of both projects ", reports Nadine Lichtenwimmer, CEO of the child protection association Hilden/Haan.
